Hi, that sounds like a manageable problem, thanks for the info! Are you still sure how much the repair cost you? And has anything else come up in this regard since then? I would like to know what I need to be prepared for.

Hello, yes of course I remember. The repair cost me around €155 to fix the faulty cable connection or plug. But since then everything has been really great. The wing mirror and the heater have worked perfectly since the visit to the mechanic, no further problems in this respect. So, don't worry! It's not a fortune and the hassle is over afterwards.

Hey, that sounds really good. 155€ is definitely within the budget. Thanks for the detailed explanation. I think I'll send my Ford to the mechanic too. I'm glad you haven't had any more problems since the repair. Hopefully my car will be the same. Thanks again!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2012 Ford Fiesta. In my case it was the cable connection/plug that was faulty. Symptoms were pretty similar. It's not impossible to fix the problem. At the workshop, they simply removed the old connector and soldered in a new one. Of course, this has to be done with a certain amount of care to avoid further problems. It's annoying, but a defect like this just happens. Hope this helps you.
