Fabia Passenger Electric Seat Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2008 Skoda Fabia had an issue with the passenger electric seat not adjusting, and a VCDS error was detected. The initial suspicion was a discharged battery. Suggestions included checking the seat switch and the main seat wiring loom for loose connections. Ultimately, the problem was resolved by replacing a heavily discharged battery, which cleared the error and restored seat functionality.

Thanks. When you say seat harness connection, are you talking about the main seat wiring loom under the seat? How would I check the seat switch?

Yes, the main seat wiring under the seat. Look for anything obvious, like a loose connector. For the seat switch, sometimes they get gunked up. Try cleaning it gently. Electric seat issues can be tricky. If it's not simple, a workshop might be best.

Just wanted to let you know the workshop found a heavily discharged battery. A new battery fixed it. Error cleared, and the seat works now. Cost was 290€. Thanks for the help.

Electric seat trouble is a pain! First, check the seat switch. Wiggle it and see if anything happens. Could also be a loose seat harness connection under the passenger seat. Good luck!
