Hey, thanks for the tip about the main wiring harness. Can you remember how expensive the whole thing was for you? And have there been any other problems since then or did everything go smoothly?

Hey, no problem! It cost me €280 to repair the defective bass speaker. Since the visit to the mechanic, the audio system has been running perfectly again, with absolutely no restrictions. It was really worth every penny and so far there have been no further problems. I hope it stays that way, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for both of us!

Hey, that sounds great. 280 isn't exactly a bargain, but if it solves the problem for good, I'm prepared to spend that much. And reassuring to hear that there have been no further problems since. Thanks again for your help and let's keep our fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly!

Check the connections to the woofer and ensure they are secure and free from corrosion. If the connections are fine, inspect the wiring for any visible damage. Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions!

Hey, I had a similar problem with my Passat (2017, diesel, approx. 84500 km). At the last garage visit, the main wiring harness for electronics was checked and indeed that was where the fault was. It was a serious problem and took a while to fix. You can also suggest this to your mechanic, maybe it's a similar problem with your Golf. Good luck with that!
