Falcon brake booster pressure sensor error

That's a good point. I did bleed the brakes a few weeks ago. Could that really cause the pressure sensor to fail completely? I thought those sensors were pretty robust.

While the sensor itself might not be defective, an improperly bled brake system can definitely cause erroneous readings and trigger the error. It is possible that air in the system is interfering with the pressure readings. I would recommend consulting a qualified workshop to professionally bleed the system and re-evaluate the sensor's functionality. It's always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to brakes.

Thanks for the advice. It turns out the brake system was bled incorrectly, just like you suspected. Took it to a workshop and they sorted it out. The pressure sensor was fine, just giving bad readings because of the air in the lines. Cost me 90€, much cheaper than a new sensor! Appreciate the help!

Interesting. The symptoms you describe sound similar to an issue I encountered with a 2016 BMW 3 series. Did you recently have any work done on the brake system, such as bleeding the brakes? Incorrect bleeding procedures can introduce air into the system, which could affect the pressure sensor readings.
