Falcon poor start and high fuel consumption

Having trouble with my 2014 Ford Falcon with a gasoline engine. It's only done 27404 km. Recently, I've noticed higher fuel consumption and the vehicle starts poorly. I suspect it might be related to the engine throttle, possibly a defective throttle valve or even the accelerator pedal module. Has anyone experienced something similar? I've tried some basic throttle cleaning, but no luck so far. Any thoughts on the throttle body or control valve?

Summary of the thread

A 2014 Ford Falcon with low mileage is experiencing poor starting and high fuel consumption. The suspected causes include a defective throttle valve or accelerator pedal module. After consulting with others who had similar issues, it was determined that the problem was indeed a defective accelerator pedal module, which was confirmed and resolved at a workshop.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

I had a similar issue with my Falcon. Symptoms sound very familiar. Have you checked the accelerator pedal module?

Thanks for the quick response! When you had the issue, were the symptoms identical? Also, did you manage to resolve it yourself or did you have to visit a workshop?

Yep, pretty much the same symptoms. I'd suggest going to a workshop. In my case it was a defective accelerator pedal module.

Thanks a lot! I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on, it was indeed a defective accelerator pedal module. Repair cost me 205€. Appreciate the help!
