Fault Memory Lock Active

I'm facing a 'Fault memory lock active' error on my 2021 Lexus LC with a gasoline engine. The only symptom I've noticed so far is that the error is stored in the error memory. I suspect it might be related to undervoltage. Has anyone encountered a similar problem, and what steps did you take to resolve it?

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had something similar happen with my LC. Was the error preventing you from clearing other codes? It was like my ECU threw a tantrum and locked everything down. Did you recently have any battery issues or leave the car sitting for a while?

Yes, exactly! It is preventing me from clearing other codes. That's a great analogy with the ECU throwing a tantrum! I did have the car sitting idle for about two weeks recently. Could that really be the culprit? What did you end up doing to fix it?

Two weeks sitting? Bingo! That's probably it. My LC is super sensitive to voltage drops. Honestly, I tried a few things, but eventually, I bit the bullet and took it to the workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly. Cost me around 240€ if I remember correctly. They reset something in the ECU, cleared the lock, and everything was back to normal.

Thank you so much for the insight! It's incredibly helpful to know I'm not alone in this. Given your experience, I'll go ahead and schedule an appointment with my trusted workshop. Hopefully, they can resolve the issue with a similar fix. Appreciate you sharing the repair cost as well; it gives me a good idea of what to expect. Fingers crossed it's a straightforward resolution. Thanks again!
