Hey, glad I can help! The repair of the control unit cost me about 1000 euros, so it wasn't exactly a bargain. But since the mechanic fixed the fault with the supply voltage speed sensor (ABS), my Ford is running smoothly again. No more crazy lights and the engine performance is great again! So it was definitely worth the money to get rid of that headache. Hope everything works just as well for you!

Wow, 1000 euros is quite a lot. But if it finally gets everything running smoothly again, it's probably worth it. Thanks again for your help and experience! I'll take my little one to the mechanic and hope that it can be repaired just as easily and effectively as your Ford. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2019 Ford Focus. The ABS/warning light was also constantly illuminated and I had the feeling that the engine power was diminishing. The fault was actually in the control unit, or more precisely, the ABS control unit was faulty. Last time at the garage, the mechanic read out the fault memory and found the faulty sensor on the ABS control unit. He said that this fault could explain the traction problems and the crazy ABS system action. This was definitely a serious issue that needed immediate attention, but after the ECU was replaced, my car was running like new again. So my advice to you would be to get the ECU checked. Hope that helps!
