Hey, thanks for your reply! So you had the same thing with your car... Did your friend get it fixed? And do you remember how much it cost you? Has anything else come up since then?

Sure, the problem was definitely fixed, since then the box hasn't been making a fuss. The rollover sensor you mentioned also malfunctioned in my case, but that was also fixed. It cost €52 to replace the defective fuse, so it wasn't too much damage. Our hobby mechanic has the thing really well under control. Fortunately, nothing new has come up for me since then. I hope that answers your questions!

That sounds really great! Lucky that it wasn't a major problem for you. 52 is a really good price when you consider that so many things were repaired at once. I'll look for a mechanic to deal with the problem tomorrow. I hope I can also find someone to take a close look at the rollover sensor. Thanks again for your help and your quick replies! You have really helped me!

Hello, I had a similar problem with my Peugeot 508 from 2011. The fuse was really annoying. In my case, not only the convertible hood was affected, but also several warning lights were on. My friend then replaced the fuse and that helped temporarily, but then the problem came back. I was lucky enough to have a mechanic among my friends in his garage. The clever guy then discovered that the actual problem was a short circuit that kept blowing the fuse. Luckily it wasn't a massive fault, just a small wire. It was taken care of and I haven't had a similar problem since. Hope that helps you a bit!
