Fiat 124 Washer Fluid Warning
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Fiat 124 owner experienced a persistent washer fluid low warning and a non-functional windshield washer system, despite refilling the fluid. Possible causes include a faulty sensor or a clogged washer motor filter, which can prevent the pump from drawing fluid and trigger the warning. The suggested solution was to check the washer motor and filter, and if under warranty, to visit a workshop for repair.

Thanks for the suggestion. Where exactly is the washer motor filter located? Is it easy to access?

The filter is usually located either in the reservoir itself, at the base of the washer motor, or inline along the hose leading from the reservoir to the spray nozzles. However, since you mentioned the error is stored in the error memory, I would suggest you check if your car is still under warranty. If it is, go directly to the workshop. I had to do it myself in the end.

Thanks for the advice. Indeed, the windshield washer system had an issue and the wiper water level was too low. I went to the workshop. Repair cost me 25€.

Oh, I feel your pain! I had a similar issue with my previous car, a 2018 Renault Megane. The washer fluid light came on despite the reservoir being full. The dealership initially suspected a faulty sensor, which is common, but it turned out to be a clogged washer motor filter. If the filter is blocked, the pump can't draw fluid, triggering the low-level warning. Did you check the washer motor and the associated filter?
