Fiat 500 Electric Brake Pedal Feedback
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Fiat 500 electric owner experienced strange feedback from the brake pedal, suspecting issues with disc brakes, brake pads, hydraulic brakes, or brake rotors. Another person suggested that the problem might be related to the car's undervoltage system, which could affect brake force distribution and cause unusual sensations. The owner confirmed that it was indeed a voltage issue affecting the brakes, which was resolved at a cost of 240€.

An undervoltage system, huh? Okay, now that's something I didn't think about. But what exactly do you mean? How would that cause the strange brake pedal feedback?

I am no expert, but I am pretty sure that undervoltage can mess with the systems that control the brake force distribution. It can definitely lead to some odd sensations and potentially affect performance. I'd seriously recommend getting it to a workshop. Let them check it!

Thanks so much for the suggestion! You nailed it. Turns out it WAS a voltage issue messing with the brakes. Cost me 240€ to fix, but at least it's sorted. Cheers!

Whoa, weird! I had something similar happen with my 500. Is the feedback consistent, or does it come and go? Does it feel like they're struggling to grab, or more of a vibration? You mentioned a lot of brake components there, and you could be right, but I would check the electrics, as the car works with under voltage systems.
