Fiat 500 Emergency Call System Malfunction

My 2012 Fiat 500 with a gasoline engine has 141793 km. The emergency call system is malfunctioning – error in memory, message in speedometer, and warning light. I suspect a defective cable or plug. Anyone else experienced this?

I experienced something very similar. I wasn't able to resolve it myself. A workshop visit was necessary to properly diagnose and fix the issue. In my case it was the control module that needed attention.

Thanks for the info. I took it to the workshop, and you were right. It was a defective plug connection, and after replacing it, the error is gone. Total cost was 95€ Appreciate the help!
