Fiat Bravo Engine Mount Error Uneven Idle
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Fiat Bravo diesel is experiencing an engine management light and uneven idling, with an error related to the engine mount. The issue may be due to a faulty sensor or connection, particularly if the problem worsens when the engine is cold. It is suggested to first check the engine mount's cable or plug connection for defects. If the issue persists, visiting a workshop for professional diagnosis and repair is recommended.

Thanks for the quick reply! Worse when cold... yeah, actually, it does seem a bit rougher then. So, you reckon it's more likely a connection issue than the mount itself being worn? Is there a specific plug I should be looking for, or is it fairly obvious under the bonnet?

Yeah, sounds very similar to what I experienced. I wouldn't rule out mount wear completely, but connections are easier to check first. Honestly, unless you're really confident, just get it to a workshop. It cost me 95€ to get sorted, and that was for a new plug and labour. Worth it for the peace of mind.

Okay, great, thanks for the advice! I'll have a quick look at the connections myself, but if I can't see anything obvious, I'll book it in. Knowing it's likely just a connection issue and not a completely failed mount makes me feel a lot better. Cheers!

I had a similar issue with my Bravo. Error codes and rough idling can be a pain. Is it worse when the engine is cold? Could be the engine mount's cable or plug connection being defective. Check that first.
