Fiat Bravo rough running and stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Fiat Bravo is experiencing rough running, stalling at idle, and jerking during acceleration, with the check engine light on. The suspected cause is a defective fuel pressure sensor or related wiring issues. After inspecting the wiring harness and connector without finding visible damage, it was suggested to consult a workshop for a diagnostic check. The workshop confirmed the issue was a broken cable at the fuel pressure sensor, which was repaired.

Thank you for your reply. I have inspected the wiring harness and connector, but I did not find any visible damage. Is it possible that the sensor is sending wrong data to the fuel injectors, messing up the fuel delivery?

It is plausible the sensor malfunction is influencing fuel delivery. Given the symptoms and your inspection, I would advise consulting a workshop for a diagnostic check. It's difficult to pinpoint the exact issue without proper tools. I did the same, and they found a broken cable on mine.

I appreciate your input. I followed your advice and visited a workshop. The fault was, indeed, a broken cable at the fuel pressure sensor, as you suggested. The repair cost was 95€. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

I had similar symptoms on my Bravo. Rough running, stalling, and a check engine light. The issue might indeed be related to the fuel pressure sensor circuit integrity. Have you checked the wiring harness and connector leading to the sensor for any visible damage or corrosion?
