Fiat Cronos oil level sensor error
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Fiat Cronos owner reported an oil level sensor error, with warning lights and error messages appearing on the speedometer. The issue was suspected to be either a sensor malfunction or a more complex problem. After checking the wiring and plug, it was suggested that a workshop inspection might be necessary. The workshop confirmed a defective cable connection to the oil level sensor, which was repaired, resolving the issue.

Thank you for your response. I have inspected the wiring and plug, and they appear to be intact. Is it possible that a replacement of the sensor would resolve the issue, or could a deeper electrical fault be the cause?

It is more than likely to be the plug, if the light bulb is ok, it's probably the switch like they say. Given that the wires seem fine, maybe going to a workshop is the best course of action.

Understood. I appreciate your insight. Following your suggestion, I had the vehicle inspected by a workshop. The issue was indeed a defective cable connection to the oil level sensor, as suspected. The repair cost me 95€. Thank you for your guidance.

Sounds like a faulty sensor, or maybe a loose connection. Have you checked the sensor's wiring and plug? Sometimes it's just like a flickering light bulb, could be a bad connection somewhere.
