Fiat Novo Stalling and Error Code
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Fiat Novo is experiencing stalling issues and a check engine light, with an error code suggesting a potential fuel-related problem. The symptoms include possible misfiring, leading to concerns about fuel economy. A suggested solution involves checking for defective cable or plug connections, which was confirmed by a workshop diagnosis as the cause of the "incorrect fuel composition" error. The issue was resolved by fixing the cable connection.

Misfiring maybe a little bit, but it's hard to tell. What was wrong with yours? Some fuel additive maybe?

I suspected a defective cable or plug connection. The error code and the symptoms point to it. It's best to get it checked by a workshop rather than trying fuel additives. They can diagnose the specific issue with the combustion chamber more accurately.

Thanks! I took it to the workshop, and you were right! It was a defective cable connection causing the "incorrect fuel composition" error. Cost me 95€ to fix, but at least it's done!

I had a similar issue with my Novo. Is the engine misfiring or knocking at all? Could be related to the fuel system. In my case, the car was stumbling at idle and throwing a code related to fuel mixture. Has the car been serviced recently?
