Incorrect coding, huh? That's interesting! I'll have to check that again. What exactly do you mean by 'weird electrical gremlins'? Did it also affect other systems in your car?

Things were going haywire on my Petra. I wasn't able to reset the codes and clear those annoying error messages, even after disconnecting the battery. The vehicle coding was messed up. My suggestion? Take it to a workshop that has the proper diagnostic tools and experience with Fiats. It'll save you a lot of grief!

Okay, I understand. Thank you so much for the advice! I will book an appointment with the workshop. Turns out you were right! It was the vehicle coding, and the repair cost me 360€. Everything seems to be fine now.

Whoa there, calm down! I drive a Petra too. Sounds suspiciously like what happened to me last year. Was the scan tool spitting out anything about incorrect coding? Any other weird electrical gremlins popping up?
