Fiat Sedici ABS and Steering Issues
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Fiat Sedici exhibited issues with a low tire pressure warning, an ABS light, and a vibrating steering wheel that was harder to steer. The core problem was identified as a defective tire valve, which caused one tire to lose air. Replacing the faulty valve and rebalancing the tires resolved the ABS and steering issues, restoring normal functionality.

I checked, and one tire is lower than the others. Was the faulty tire valve the only problem, or were there other issues? Did it affect your ABS and power steering too?

For me, it was just the tire valve. Once I replaced it, the pressure stayed good, the shaking stopped, and the ABS light went off after a short drive. The power steering thing could be related to the low pressure throwing off the system, but I’d get it checked to be sure, especially with the ABS light. Better safe than sorry!

I went to a workshop. It was a defective tire valve, like we thought. Replacing it and rebalancing the tires fixed it. Cost me 280€. The ABS and power steering are normal now. Thanks for the help!

Hey! I had something similar with my Sedici. Shaking steering wheel and tire pressure light are dead giveaways. Check all your tires. I bet one is losing air fast. Mine was almost flat!
