How did you know it was the accelerator pedal module? And how much did the repair set you back?

The symptoms were exactly the same, and I checked the error codes. The module was faulty. I would suggest going to a workshop so they can properly diagnose it. It's likely the cause, though.

Thanks for the tip! It was indeed the accelerator pedal module, and the workshop confirmed it. Cost me 205€ to replace. Runs like new!

Throttle valve issues are common. I had similar symptoms with my Sedici. Have you checked the accelerator pedal module? A defective one of those can cause problems with the engine throttle and control valve, messing with fuel efficiency.
