Fiat Sedici power loss

A 2012 Fiat Sedici diesel experienced power loss and a dashboard warning light, with an error detected by an auto scanner. The issue was linked to faulty chip tuning by a previous owner. The suggested solution was to take the car to a workshop, where the problem was confirmed and resolved.

Chip tuning? Yes, the previous owner mentioned something about that. Is that a common thing to cause engine issues?

Yes, I believe so. In my case, the faulty chip tuning was causing the issue. I'd recommend taking your car to a workshop.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the workshop, and you were right – faulty chip tuning! Cost me 180€ to fix. I appreciate the help!

I also drive a Sedici with a diesel engine. I had a similar issue a while back. Was there any chip tuning done by third-party providers?
