Fiat Siena cold start injector issue

My 2017 Fiat Siena, gasoline engine, is giving me grief at 55631 km. Cold starts are a nightmare. It runs rough when cold, and sometimes it just refuses to fire up properly. I'm pretty sure it's the cold start injector playing up. Any ideas? I did check the fuel rail pressure, which seems okay, but I haven't done an injector test yet. Could a simple injector cleaning solve this, or am I looking at a bigger fuel injection issue?

I had a similar problem on my Siena. Symptoms sound spot on. Has the engine management light come on at all?

The engine management light hasn't come on, which is what's throwing me off. When yours had this issue, did the light come on? And did you manage to fix it yourself?

No, mine didn't illuminate the engine management light either. I’d suggest you take it to a workshop. Sounds like a defective injector valve.

You were spot on! Took it to the workshop, they ran an injector test and confirmed the cold start injector was faulty. Repair cost me 515€, but she's running like new again. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
