Yeah, I think it's the exhaust sensor. How did you figure it out, and what exactly went wrong with your engine performance?

Sounds like the same issue. I'd take it to a workshop to confirm. I had smoke and a drop in power; the sensor was faulty. They replaced it, and the problem went away.

That's what I needed to hear. Workshop it is! Turns out you were spot on, the exhaust back pressure sensor was defective. Replaced it, cost me 245€ and now it runs like new!
