Fiat Tipo Error Messages

I'm hoping someone can offer some insight into a bizarre issue I'm having with my 2021 Fiat Tipo (gasoline engine). It has around 211828 km on the clock. I keep getting sporadic error messages and illuminated warning lights popping up, almost like a Christmas tree. Sometimes it affects the driving mode, but mostly it seems to be hitting the audio/navigation system. The control units occasionally shut down or just become totally unresponsive. I ran a scan tool and it shows an error stored in the memory, but it's not very specific. Could it be a defective cable connection of the control unit (connection to the BUS system)? It's driving me nuts!

Sounds familiar! I have a Tipo myself, and I had a similar experience a while back. The random errors and system failures are incredibly frustrating, aren't they? In my case, it turned out to be a dodgy connection to the BUS system, exactly as you suspected. Honestly, unless you're comfortable digging into the wiring harness, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. Messing with those connections can be a real headache. It would cost you around 155€.
