Fiat Tipo Massage Seat Failure

Car gurus, I'm at my wit's end! I've got a 2023 Fiat Tipo, hybrid engine, and this fancy massage seat thing is kaput. I've only clocked 70322 km! The massage function just won't switch on, nada, zip. And to add insult to injury, the car's throwing an error code about it. I've checked the fuses, and they seem fine. Could it really be a faulty switch already?

I had a similar issue once, albeit with a 2018 Volvo XC60. The symptoms sound familiar. I'd suggest checking the wiring and connectors under the seat first. Could be a loose connection. Is there any sign of damage to the wires?

Good shout! I'll have another look. When you say similar, was yours completely dead too, or did it just act up sometimes? And did your Volvo throw an error code as well?

Mine was completely dead, yes. And it also gave an error code. Given the error and the complete failure, I think it’s more likely something has failed completely. I would take it to the shop.

Thanks for the advice! I had a look at the cable and plug connection. It was indeed defective. Got it sorted for 95€. Appreciate the help!
