Fiesta blower motor failure

Hmm, blower motor issues can be tricky. On my old BMW (completely different car, I know), a faulty odor sensor caused all sorts of weird climate control problems. But it didn't completely kill the blower motor. What makes you think it's the AUC sensor? Did you check the wiring?

Wiring looks okay, but I'm no expert. The mileage is 104814 km. Why do you ask about the wiring? Did you find a connection problem on your BMW when you had odor sensor issues?

Yeah, with my BMW (again, different beast entirely), it turned out to be a corroded plug connection. But if you are unsure, I would take it to a workshop. Better safe than sorry, especially with climate control issues. They can run a proper diagnostic.

Thanks, I appreciate the insight. Took your advice and brought it in. Turns out it was indeed the AUC sensor – faulty cable connection, just like you suspected! Cost me 95€ to sort out. Thanks!
