Fiesta Fog Sensor Issue

Hi, I'm having trouble with my 2011 Ford Fiesta diesel (167558 km). I'm getting an error related to the fog sensor, and the air conditioning won't switch on. Also, the spray nozzles were frozen even when it wasn't that cold, and the mirror heating isn't working either. I've checked some basic stuff, but I'm thinking it might be a defective cable or plug connection to the sensor. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with my Fiesta. The symptoms you're describing sound very familiar. Did you happen to check the resistance of the sensor itself?

Thanks for the reply! I haven't checked the resistance yet, I wasn't sure what the correct value should be. Where is the fog sensor located exactly? Is it easy to access?

In my case it was indeed the cable. Given your description I advise a visit to the workshop. I also thought I could solve it myself, but in the end I had to go to the pro's. They sorted it out quickly for 95€.
