Fiesta Fog Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Ford Fiesta owner is experiencing issues with a fog sensor error, non-functional air conditioning, frozen spray nozzles, and non-working mirror heating. The suspected cause is a defective cable or plug connection to the sensor. A suggestion is made to check the sensor's resistance, but ultimately, a visit to a professional workshop is recommended for a proper diagnosis and repair.

Thanks for the reply! I haven't checked the resistance yet, I wasn't sure what the correct value should be. Where is the fog sensor located exactly? Is it easy to access?

In my case it was indeed the cable. Given your description I advise a visit to the workshop. I also thought I could solve it myself, but in the end I had to go to the pro's. They sorted it out quickly for 95€.

Thanks for confirming! I'll take your advice and book it in with a workshop. Sounds like it's beyond my capabilities to diagnose properly. Hopefully, it's a quick fix like yours was!

I had a similar issue with my Fiesta. The symptoms you're describing sound very familiar. Did you happen to check the resistance of the sensor itself?
