Fiesta Key Fob Battery Issue

I had something similar happen with my Fiesta. It's a real pain when your key fob starts acting up! When you say 'keyless access', you mean pushing the button on the handle to unlock the car? I had that stop working completely, and sometimes the buttons on the key itself wouldn't work either. Did you try the spare key to see if that works?

I didn't want to risk damaging anything by trying to change the battery myself, so I took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was just the battery. It's a small watch-type battery, but they have the right tools and know how to open the fob without breaking it. I'd recommend doing the same, just to be safe.
