Fiesta Parking Aid Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Ford Fiesta owner experienced a sudden failure of the parking aid system, with diagnostics indicating an error but no dashboard warnings. The owner suspects a cable or plug issue and is concerned about repair costs. Suggestions include checking the fuse box for a blown fuse, as this could be a simple fix. Ultimately, the owner decides to seek professional diagnosis at a workshop.

Thanks! It failed suddenly, no warning. About the fuse box, do you know which fuse is for the parking aid system? A diagram would really help.

I don't have a diagram, but it's usually in the car's manual or on the fuse box cover. If it's not the fuse, and it happened suddenly with an error, a workshop might be best. Could save you money in the end.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll book an appointment with a workshop for a diagnosis. It's probably beyond me. I appreciate the help! I will post the solution here.

I have a Ford Fiesta, but I'd need to check the year. I had something similar happen. Did it fail slowly, or did it just stop? Did you check the fuse box? Sometimes it's just a fuse...
