Fluid level's fine. Haven't checked the alignment recently. Could misaligned wheels cause this erratic power steering? I thought it mainly affected tire wear.

Yeah, could be other things, like the steering pump. But alignment's easy to check. If it's not that, probably best to take it to a shop.

I checked the cable and plug connections and found a loose one. Fixed it, and the power steering's back to normal. Error memory cleared. Total repair: 95€.
