Fiesta Wipers Not Working
Summary of the thread
A 2006 Ford Fiesta diesel's windshield wipers have stopped working, with a faulty connection error indicated. The issue may be due to a dodgy cable, plug, or a corroded connection. Checking the wiper motor and fuses is suggested, but taking the car to a workshop for professional diagnosis and repair is recommended to avoid unnecessary hassle.

I had a quick look at the fuses, they seem fine. I didn't actually check the wiper motor, though. Where exactly is that located? And how would I test if it's actually dead or not?

If the fuses are fine, then check the motor under the hood, near the base of the windshield, usually under a plastic cover. Honestly, I'd just take it to a workshop. I spent ages messing around with mine and it turned out to be a corroded connection. Cost me 95€ to fix in the end, so might be worth saving yourself the hassle.

Right, corroded connection sounds plausible. I'll take it to a workshop as you suggested. Hopefully, it's just that and nothing too serious. Thanks!

That sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my Fiesta. The wipers just wouldn't work. Did you check the wiper motor itself? Also, have you checked the fuses?
