Figo Audio System Failure
Summary of the thread
The audio system in a 2011 Ford Figo diesel was completely non-functional, with no sound from any speakers despite the fuses being intact. The issue was suspected to be related to a faulty bass speaker, which was confirmed by a technician. Replacing the defective speaker resolved the problem, restoring the audio system's functionality.

When your Figo's audio went out, was it also complete silence from all speakers? How do fade/balance settings help diagnose a bad bass speaker?

Yes, complete silence across all speakers when mine went. The fade/balance lets you direct sound to individual speakers or sides, maybe highlighting a faulty speaker. But if it's all dead, including the subwoofer, it's pointing to a larger fault. Time for a workshop visit I'd say.

Took it to a technician as suggested. Defective bass speaker confirmed and replaced. Total cost: 280€. Audio system is working now.

Strange, I had similar radio silence in my Figo. No sound at all? Sounds like a speaker issue. The bass speaker is often the culprit. Have you tried fade/balance settings to isolate the problem?
