Figo Blower Motor Failure

Hi, I'm having a strange issue with my 2010 Ford Figo with a gasoline engine. The blower motor suddenly stopped working. After some research, I suspect a faulty AUC sensor, or air quality sensor. I’ve checked the fuses, and they seem fine. I’ve also tried to locate the sensor itself to check the cable and plug connection, but I'm not entirely sure where it is located in the Figo. Could a defective cable or plug realistically kill the blower motor? The car has around 216593 km on it.

Hey, I had a similar problem with my Ford Figo. Does your climate control seem off too?

Yes, come to think about it, the climate control has been acting up a bit lately. How was the problem solved in your case, and where exactly is the AUC sensor located? I'd like to check the connections before taking it to a workshop.

Mine was the AUC sensor, too. I couldn't find the location easily either and ended up taking it to a workshop. Best to get it checked professionally, probably.

Thanks for the input. I'll take it to a local shop. They quoted me around 95€ for replacing the sensor and doing the repair, so hopefully, that’ll fix it.
