Figo Infotainment Audio Failure

Experiencing an issue with my 2016 Ford Figo diesel. The infotainment system displays an error, and the audio is not working. Error is stored. Could a defective antenna be the cause? The car has 225240 km; the radio reception is totally dead.

I had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra. My signal strength was nonexistent. Have you checked the antenna ground connection? It might be corroded or loose. Also, some cars have a signal amplifier; this could also be the culprit.

On the Astra, it was behind the head unit, a real pain to get to. Honestly, checking the amplifier without the right tools is tricky. Given your symptoms, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. I ended up paying around 250€ for a new antenna cable.
