Thank you for the information! Where exactly did you find the antenna ground connection in your Astra? And how can I check the signal amplifier in the Figo?

On the Astra, it was behind the head unit, a real pain to get to. Honestly, checking the amplifier without the right tools is tricky. Given your symptoms, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. I ended up paying around 250€ for a new antenna cable.

I appreciate the advice. Taking it to the shop seems like the best course of action. Thank you for sharing your experience; it has helped me to understand the potential problem and what to expect from the workshop.

I had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra. My signal strength was nonexistent. Have you checked the antenna ground connection? It might be corroded or loose. Also, some cars have a signal amplifier; this could also be the culprit.
