Figo Overheating Error
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Ford Figo diesel is experiencing a bypass valve malfunction, error codes, and engine overheating. The issue might be related to air leaks in the intake or a clogged exhaust system causing back pressure. A professional inspection is recommended, as similar cases have been resolved by identifying software glitches rather than mechanical faults.

Were your symptoms identical, specifically the error codes and overheating? Also, where in the air intake and exhaust system should I focus my inspection?

Yeah, overheating was a big one for me too, plus the error codes kept popping up. Honestly, I'd get it checked out by a professional before you start ripping things apart. Could save you a lot of headache. I went to a workshop; worth it.

I'll get it inspected. Interestingly, the workshop said the error was a software glitch, so no repair was needed. Cost was 0€.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Ford Figo. Check for air leaks in the intake. Could also be the exhaust system causing back pressure if it's clogged. When was the last time you checked your fuel efficiency? Might give you a clue.
