Figo Power Loss

I'm fuming! My 2017 Ford Figo diesel is throwing a fit. Keeps losing power, and the check engine light is mocking me. I'm guessing it's something with the air intake. Any ideas before I torch the thing?

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my Figo (also diesel). Reduced engine power and that check engine light. Have you checked the throttle body or sensor? Could be a bad air flow reading.

Throttle body, eh? Where exactly is that, and is it easy to get to? I'm not a complete idiot with cars, but I'm no mechanic either. What exactly were your symptoms?

It's pretty accessible, near the air filter box. But honestly, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. Mine was indeed a throttle valve issue. Bad accelerator pedal module. Cost me around 265€ to sort.
