Figo Sporadic Errors
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Ford Figo diesel is experiencing sporadic errors, including driving mode and audio/navigation failures, and sometimes shutting down. The issue is suspected to be related to the BUS system cable, as error codes indicate control module communication problems. A similar case was resolved by fixing a defective cable connection to a control unit, suggesting that a professional inspection and repair might be necessary.

Scan tool shows a few things, yeah. Mostly control module errors, lost communication type stuff. Did yours point to the cable connection or a specific module?

Mine was doing the same thing. Honestly, I messed around with it for a bit and then just took it to a shop. Turned out to be a defective cable connection to one of the control units. They fixed it pretty quickly. Maybe it's worth getting it checked out properly before you chase your tail.

Cheers. Defective cable connection sounds spot on. I'll take it in. Estimate is around 155€, so not too bad if that fixes it.

Sounds familiar! I have a Figo too, and I had a similar issue last year. Everything was going haywire, especially the entertainment system. Did a scan show anything specific, or just a bunch of seemingly unrelated errors?
