Figo Won't Start
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Ford Figo with a gasoline engine won't start, and the owner suspects an engine control malfunction. A suggestion is made to check the battery cable connections, as a similar issue was resolved by addressing corroded connections. After cleaning the battery connections, the car starts successfully, confirming the problem was related to the battery rather than the engine control or fuel injection.

Where exactly should I be looking? I gave the cables a wiggle, still nothing. Could it be the fuel injection?

Yeah, that was my initial thought too, fuel injection. But it turned out the connections were corroded. If that doesn't fix it, definitely take it to a workshop. Mine cost 155€ to sort out.

Thanks for the tip! You were spot on, battery connections were bad. Cleaned them and it started right up. Saved me a tow. Cheers!

Dude, I had a similar issue with my Figo! Check your battery cable connections. Sounds like ECU failure. Is the check engine light on?
