Thanks for the tip! I haven't checked the fuel injectors directly yet. How did you troubleshoot the injectors on your Astra? Did you have to take it to a mechanic to diagnose?

Yeah, I ended up taking it to a shop. They ran some tests on the fuel system and determined one of the injectors was faulty. Honestly, unless you have the right tools and experience, it's probably best to have a professional take a look. They have the equipment to properly diagnose fuel issues.

Alright, that's what I was afraid of. I'll book it in with a mechanic. The error code suggests a defective cable or plug connection, hopefully that's all it is. The repair cost was 95€. Thanks for the help!

Interesting. I had a somewhat similar problem with my old Opel Astra, although it was a diesel. The check engine light was on all the time, and it felt like the engine was hesitating. Did you check the fuel injectors? Maybe one of those is clogged or malfunctioning.
