Fit Door Lock Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Honda Fit experienced a door lock failure, with the locks not functioning despite the fuses being intact. The issue was suspected to be electrical, possibly involving the door switch or wiring. A suggestion was made to inspect the wiring harness where it enters the door, as wires can become brittle and break. Upon professional inspection, a faulty cable connection was identified and repaired, resolving the problem.

Oh really? Where exactly should I be looking? I'm not super tech-savvy with car electrics. Is it easy to get to the harness and check the wires, or do I need to take apart the whole door panel?

Yep, that's where I'd start. You'll likely need to partially remove the door panel to get a good look at the wiring harness where it enters the door. Be gentle with the plastic clips! If you find broken wires, that could be your culprit. If you are uncomfortable doing this yourself, it might be best to have a qualified workshop to check the contact signal for defects. Better safe than sorry!

Thanks so much for the tip! I took it to a local shop, and you were right – it was a faulty cable connection in the door. They fixed it for 95€, and now the automatic locks work again! You saved me a lot of headaches.

I had a similar problem with my Fit (don't remember the exact year). Have you checked the wiring harness where it goes from the body into the door? Those wires can get brittle and break over time from being flexed every time you open and close the door. That could definitely mess with the contact signal.
