Fit engine stalling fuel composition error

My 2020 Honda Fit hybrid is showing a rather disconcerting issue. The check engine light illuminates intermittently, and the engine occasionally stalls at idle. Error memory indicates an incorrect fuel composition. Current mileage is 171633 km. Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

Summary of the thread

A 2020 Honda Fit hybrid is experiencing intermittent check engine light activation and occasional engine stalling at idle, with an error indicating incorrect fuel composition. Possible causes include issues with fuel additives, the fuel filter, or defective cable or plug connections. A workshop visit is planned to address the suspected defective component connection.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I have a Fit too, and I had some sputtering issues and the light came on. Did you try any fuel additives or check the fuel filter?

I have not yet explored fuel additives or filter inspection. Was your situation also linked to a fuel composition error? Did you experience complete engine stalls?

Yeah, it was acting weird, kinda like it wasn't getting the right fuel mix. Didn't completely stall, but felt like it would. Honestly, I got nervous and took it to a workshop.

I appreciate the insight. A defective cable or plug connection of the component is the suspected cause, repair should be around 95€. I will proceed with a workshop visit.
