Summary of the thread
A 2020 Honda Fit hybrid was experiencing ignition issues, including intermittent starting failures, engine shut-offs while driving, and rough running. Thanks for the quick reply. Regarding the ignition coil connections, can you elaborate on what specifically I should be looking for? And about the key, the action feels normal, no unusual resistance or looseness.

Okay, if the key feels normal, that rules out some mechanical issues. For the ignition coil connections, check if they are clean and tight. Look for any corrosion (a white or greenish build-up) or damage to the wires. If you're not comfortable messing with the electronics, it might be best to get it checked out by a professional. It could be a more complex electrical problem.

Appreciate the input. Ended up taking it to a workshop; turned out to be a simple fuse replacement, exactly as suspected. Total repair cost was 52€. Thanks for the cautious but helpful advice!

Whoa, sounds scary! Especially the random shut-off. Ignition problems can be tricky. Have you checked the ignition coil connections? Sometimes a loose connector can cause weird issues like that. And when you turn the ignition key, does it feel normal, or is it unusually stiff or loose?
