Good analogy! Wiring... hmm, hadn't thought of that. Where exactly would I find the motor and wiring to check? Is it a big job to get to?

Accessing the motor usually involves removing the rear shelf. It's fiddly. Considering the error code and the symptoms, though, I'd lean towards the motor itself being faulty. You could test the voltage at the connector, but honestly, at that mileage, the motor is the prime suspect. I'd say just get it to a mechanic; the hassle might not be worth it.

Took it to the shop. Turns out you were spot on – the motor was toast. New one installed and cost me 330€. Thanks for the help!

Sounds like the motor. The error code pretty much confirms it. It's like when your electric windows go kaput; usually a motor issue. Have you checked the wiring to the motor itself? Maybe a loose connection?
