FiveHundred Turn Signal Issue

Alright, gearheads, I'm pulling my hair out over here. My 2004 Ford FiveHundred with a gasoline engine is throwing a fit with its turn signal. I've got 137007 km on the clock. The error memory is screaming, the speedometer keeps flashing an error message, and the lighting is definitely acting up when I signal. I'm guessing it's a bad cable or plug connection somewhere in the system. Anyone else seen this electrical gremlin before?

Summary of the thread

A 2004 Ford FiveHundred is experiencing turn signal issues, with error messages on the speedometer and lighting malfunctions. The problem is suspected to be a bad cable or plug connection. A suggestion to check the flasher relay is made, but the issue is ultimately resolved by addressing a corroded connector, which required professional assistance.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Yep, had similar craziness with my FiveHundred. Indicator light giving me fits. You checked the flasher relay yet?

Flasher relay, huh? I hadn't gotten that far yet. Where exactly is that located on the FiveHundred?

Honestly, tracing it can be a pain. My issue ended up being a corroded connector. Save yourself the headache and have a workshop take a look.

Ugh, sounds like good advice. I was hoping to avoid the shop but I'm not keen on chasing wires. Ended up costing me 95€, but it's finally sorted. Thanks for the tip!
