FJCruiser blower motor issue
Summary of the thread
The conversation revolves around a blower motor issue in a 2020 Toyota FJCruiser, suspected to be linked to the AUC sensor. A faulty odor sensor could potentially cause the climate control system to malfunction. A suggestion was made to inspect the cable or plug connection at the sensor itself, as a defective connection might be the root cause. If the issue persists, visiting a workshop for professional assistance is recommended.

Thanks for the insight! When you mention the cable or plug, are you referring to the connection at the sensor itself, or somewhere further along the line? Also, did yours throw any specific error codes?

I meant the connection at the sensor itself. My car didn't show any errors at all, that's why it took me so long to figure it out. If you are unsure about it, I would recommend taking it to a workshop. It cost me around 95€ to fix it.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! It sounds like I'm on the right track then. I'll give the connection a thorough inspection first. If that doesn't solve it, a workshop visit is definitely on the cards. Appreciate the help!

Interesting. I had a similar problem with my FJCruiser. From my experience a defective cable or plug connection of the component can cause such issues. Did you check the AUC sensor cable?
