Fluence radiator oil pressure issue

I'm having a radiator oil pressure issue with my 2013 Renault Fluence, gasoline engine, at 81330 km. The transmission indicator and check engine lights are on. The automatic transmission is in emergency mode, shifting improperly, slipping, and making grinding noises. Error memory shows a fault. Could a defective cable or plug connection be the cause?

Dude, that sounds familiar! I had almost the same thing happen in my Fluence. Did you check the oil cooler lines? I had a leak in one of those once, and it screwed with the transmission pressure like crazy. Made the gearbox act like it was learning to dance... badly!

Thank you for your input. Can you provide more detail on which oil cooler lines you mean and how they affected the transmission pressure specifically? I am trying to narrow down my investigation.

No worries, happy to help! I'm no mechanic, but yeah, it was the lines going to the radiator. They were leaking coolant onto the sensor. It messes with the signal. You could check them for cracks or loose connections. But honestly, I'd get it to a workshop. It cost me 95€, but it was worth avoiding a tranny explosion. Better safe than sorry!

I appreciate the insight regarding the oil cooler lines. I followed your recommendation and had the vehicle inspected. The repair cost came to 95€ as predicted. Thank you again for the assistance; it proved invaluable.
