Fluence starting problem
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Renault Fluence diesel is experiencing starting problems, with the check engine light on and a slipping gearbox. A scan indicates a defective control unit, and there is speculation that the issue might be related to a faulty transmission sensor. It is suggested to take the car to a workshop for a proper diagnosis and mention the potential sensor issue for resolution.

Yeah, I've tried both park and neutral, still no luck. What was the issue with your Megane?

Mine was a faulty transmission sensor causing similar symptoms. I would recommend taking it to a workshop for a proper diagnosis. It cost me around 1000€ for the repair.

Thanks for the info! I'll take it to a workshop and mention the transmission sensor. Hopefully, it's the same issue and they can fix it.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Renault Megane. Though the error memory showed something similar.
