Fluence starting problem

Hi. My 2010 Renault Fluence diesel won't start. The check engine light is on, and the gearbox seems to slip. A scan says something about a defective control unit. Mileage is 48482 km. Could it be the transmission sensor?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Renault Megane. Though the error memory showed something similar.

Yeah, I've tried both park and neutral, still no luck. What was the issue with your Megane?

Mine was a faulty transmission sensor causing similar symptoms. I would recommend taking it to a workshop for a proper diagnosis. It cost me around 1000€ for the repair.

Thanks for the info! I'll take it to a workshop and mention the transmission sensor. Hopefully, it's the same issue and they can fix it.
