Fluence Throttle Problems

Thanks for the quick response. It idles rough as anything at first, then settles down a bit, but it never really sounds right, you know? Could it be the accelerator pedal module?

The accelerator pedal module is indeed a plausible cause, especially given the combined symptoms. A defective throttle position sensor within the module can lead to incorrect signals being sent to the engine control unit, resulting in poor starting and increased fuel consumption. I would recommend having a workshop perform a diagnostic check.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a mechanic, and you were spot on. Defective accelerator pedal module it was. Got it replaced for 205€ and it seems to have sorted the issues out.

Good day. The symptoms you describe suggest a potential issue with the throttle valve or associated components. Does the engine idle smoothly once started, or does it fluctuate erratically?
