Fluence Tire Pressure ABS and Steering Issues

I've got a 2013 Renault Fluence, electric engine, with 185k on the clock. Recently, the tire pressure warning light keeps popping up. I've checked the pressures manually and they seem fine, but now the ABS lamp is also lit, the steering wheel vibrates like mad, and the power steering feels like it's giving up. Any thoughts?

Sounds familiar. I have a Fluence as well, though I haven't racked up quite as many kilometers as you have. Had a similar issue a while back - low tire pressure warnings that didn't match the actual pressure readings, followed by some weird steering issues. Did you check the valve on the tires? Any hissing or unusual sounds coming from the tires?

Good call, I didn't check the valve itself. I will take a look. What exactly was the issue on your Fluence when you had that problem?

Yep, it was the valve on one of the tires. Small defect, causing a gradual leak. The tire pressure sensor picked it up first, then the low pressure started messing with the ABS and power steering systems. I'd suggest getting it checked professionally to be sure, it could be dangerous.

Cheers, appreciate the insight. Took it to the shop, you were spot on, valve was faulty! New valve installed, recalibrated the system, all good for 280€. Steering feels normal again. Thanks again!
