Fluence tire pressure warning

I'm getting so frustrated with my 2011 Renault Fluence diesel. The tire pressure warning light keeps popping up! I've checked the tires multiple times, and they seem fine, maybe even too low for what it says on the door. The speedometer keeps flashing the error, and I even plugged in an OBD reader which confirms a tire pressure sensor fault. I'm guessing the sensor battery is dead after all these years. Has anyone else experienced this?

I also own a Fluence. I had a similar issue with the tire pressure warnings. It was quite annoying. Did you check the air valve? Maybe it's not completely sealed. It happened to me once.

Thanks for the quick response! I did check the valves, they seem okay. The weird thing is, it's intermittent. Sometimes it's fine for a day or two, then the warning pops back up. Was yours like that? Or was it constant?

Mine was intermittent at first, then became constant. Given your efforts, it does seem very likely you're dealing with a faulty sensor. To avoid further uncertainties, consider a workshop visit.

Okay, I appreciate the advice! I took it to a local mechanic, and you were spot on. It was indeed a faulty tire pressure sensor. Got it replaced, and the error is gone. Cost me 280€ total. Thanks again for your help!
