Focus Airbag Warning Light Rollover Sensor Error
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Ford Focus is experiencing an airbag warning light issue, with a diagnostic tool indicating an error related to the rollover sensor. The problem could be due to a faulty control unit affecting the sensor. A similar case was resolved by replacing the control unit at a workshop. It is recommended to consult a trusted workshop for a proper diagnosis and repair.

That's interesting! No, it just appeared randomly. I haven't had any accidents or anything like that. Could it be a defective control unit, and do you have any idea about the repair cost?

Yeah, that's what it was for me too. After some digging, it turned out to be a faulty control unit affecting the rollover sensor. Unfortunately, I couldn't fix it myself. I ended up taking it to a shop, and they replaced the unit. If I remember correctly, it cost me around 1000€. I'd suggest taking it to a trusted workshop.

Thanks a lot for the help! At least now I know what I'm dealing with before visiting a workshop. I appreciate you sharing your experience; seems like this could be a more involved job. Will post the resolution once complete!

I had something similar with my Focus; same warning light and error code pointing to the rollover sensor. Did the error appear after any specific event, like a hard bump or unusual parking angle?
