Undervoltage, huh? That's interesting. I haven't noticed anything else obvious, but where would I even start looking for something like that? Is it something to do with the disc brakes or brake pads?

Well, it could be something simple like worn brake shoes or rotors causing the ABS to overreact, but in my case, the undervoltage caused erratic behaviour in the ABS module itself. Honestly, it's a bit of a headache to diagnose properly without the right tools. Best bet is to get it checked by a workshop - they can easily check each circuit.

Thanks for the insight! Took it to a mechanic and you were spot on, it was the undervoltage messing with the ABS. They sorted out the circuit and after new brake rotors, pads, and shoes I paid 240€ and everything works as it should!

That sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Focus (not sure what year yours is), and it turned out to be related to undervoltage in the vehicle. The ABS system gets a bit wonky. Have you noticed any other electrical gremlins?
